Directions:
Fossil Dig (3-4 hours)
Take a trip to the Vulcan Mines and dig for
fossils of prehistoric animals. Previous finds
include ancient sea biscuits, sea urchins, and
other marine fossils. Discuss prehistoric Florida
and its prehistoric inhabitants. Don’t forget
something to dig up and to hold all your earthly
treasures!
